JiWire Names David Staas Senior Vice President of Marketing
Industry Veteran to Drive JiWire Leadership in Mobile Audience Engagement

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - June 9, 2009) - JiWire, the leading Mobile Audience Media
company, announced today it has appointed David Staas as senior vice
president of marketing. JiWire, which reaches 20 million unique users per
month through their public Wi-Fi advertising platform, is responding to
increased market demand from brands and advertisers for its advertising
solutions by adding Staas to the management team. Bringing more than 13
years of marketing and product management in the mobile and advertising
industries, Staas will help brands target their in-market, engaged mobile
audience including on-the-go business decision makers, affluent consumers,
and trendsetting millennials.

Staas comes most recently from Ad Infuse, a leading pioneer in mobile
advertising, where he was vice president of marketing. At Ad Infuse, Staas
helped build a premium network and platform business with leading mobile
operators before it was purchased by London-based Velti in May 2009. Prior
to Ad Infuse, Staas led the global product marketing team at Openwave
Systems, responsible for a product portfolio generating over $400M in
annual business with established mobile and broadband telecommunications
providers in the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
