Maconomy UK has signed a strategic deal with the Scottish Agricultural College (SAC). The deal includes a Maconomy Professional Services solution for 850 users. SAC is an innovative, knowledge-based organisation that supports the development of land-based industries and rural communities through specialist research and development resources, education and training provision as well as expert advisory and consultancy services. SAC's vision is to be a leader for innovation and sustainable development in the rural sector. SAC has over 7,000 clients, including the Scottish and British governments for whom it delivers wide-ranging research and consultancy on issues affecting the rural agenda. SAC has initially purchased 850 licences of the Maconomy Professional Services front office solution, including AnalytiX reporting. The solution will provide SAC with the project visibility it needs and will provide a more commercial platform for project delivery in the future. SAC plans to go live by April 2010.
