Salamon Group Inc. Comments On Wireless Power

Provocative Article Shows Wireless Power Closer to Reality

LAS VEGAS, June 23, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Salamon Group Inc. (OTCBB:SLMU), a leading designer of next generation electronic products and systems, provides this update on one of its wireless power patent pending technologies in response to stakeholder enquiries sparked by a recent article.

The article was part of a regular column entitled, "The Working Guy," written by Christopher Null. The article describes how a major cell phone company is working on a system that will pull ambient electricity out of the air from radio waves, which in turn, can slowly charge a cell phone.

Salamon's technology (patent pending) relies on what the article calls "traditional" wireless power. It uses a receiver to catch electric currents to a battery to run a power inverter.

"Wireless power is closer to becoming a reality," said John Salamon, President and Chief Executive Officer of Salamon Group Inc. "We're encouraged at the amount of research finally being done in the space and we're extremely lucky to have been doing it for years -- it shows we hit a nerve early on. We're also hoping that there will be some form of intellectual exchange between the various researchers so that we can make this a reality sooner rather than later."

Salamon Group has worked on electricity collection and has a patent pending as well. To read "The Working Guy" article please click: http://ca.tech.yahoo.com/blogs/the_working_guy/rss/article/3638
