United Cutlery(R) Partners With Sony Computer Entertainment America to Produce Kratos' Blades of Chaos From the "God of War(R)" Video Game Franchise

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwire - July 22, 2009) - United Cutlery®, manufacturer of licensed edged and adult collectibles for the entertainment industry since 1981, today announced its partnership with Sony Computer Entertainment America, Inc. to create an authentic replica of the Blades of Chaos from the wildly popular "God of War®" video game series for the PlayStation® family of products.

This scaled replica of Kratos' Blades of Chaos, the main character's primary weapon in "God of War," stretches 20 13/16" overall and is designed with a 12 7/16" blade constructed from solid-cast zinc aluminum with a custom-etched mold texture, and unique fantasy grindings that mirror the piece used in the game. The handle grip is injection-molded and surrounded by an intricate, detailed cast-metal guard and pommel. The Blades of Chaos replica includes a custom display stand with the "God of War" logo.

Beginning July 23rd, in conjunction with opening day of Comic Con®, fans will have the opportunity to advance-order the "God of War" Blades of Chaos from BUDK, a United Cutlery® dealer, for $123.99.
