Summary: On May 5, the combination of Affitech A/S and Affitech Research AS was
successfully completed. For the first six months of 2009 the Affitech Group
generated revenues of DKK 2,836 thousand and a net loss of DKK 20,834 thousand.
Research and development costs totalled DKK 15,097 thousand. The Company has
previously announced that it expects a net loss in 2009 of approximately DKK 40
million. As set out in the prospectus dated June 30, 2009, the Group's planned
activities will require additional capital and the Company intends to raise new
equity capital in the second half of 2009. The Group may incur additional
unbudgeted expenses in relation to this financing and the board and management
will review its forecast for 2009 on a continuing basis.
