Verimatrix and AppearTV Offer Flexible ViewRight Professional Multi-Channel IP Receiver

Designed to accommodate a variety of input and output formats, this implementation offers a combination of high channel density and highly flexible configurations for bulk decrypt of IP encapsulated video transport streams.

ViewRight Professional is a key enabler in two main areas of operational deployment, each with its own business driver: Enhancing the flexibility offered by the Verimatrix wholesale/retail IPTV architecture and enabling automated monitoring in IP head-end deployments. The partnership enables bulk decryption of encrypted multicast IP transport streams to clear multicast IP outputs or a full decrypt and decode direct to analog signals, which minimizes the equipment combinations and therefore decreases potential points of failure. Based around a 1RU form factor, the product has a high channel density and supports descrambling of streams using Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) 128 in either ECB or CBC modes, and DVB Common Scrambling Algorithm (DVB-CSA) standards.
