Coping With Brain Surgery -- Author Brings Inspiration and Shares a Personal Story of Going Through Two Brain Surgeries

STATESVILLE, N.C., Oct. 7, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Author Delores Beecham brings fresh hope to brain surgery patients as she releases, through Xlibris, a book that tells of her personal story of the said predicament and the light that comes along with it. Brain Surgery And Recovery From A Patient's Point of View sheds light to what is perceived to many as a helpless case.

Beecham first went to see her family doctor after having severe headaches. From one specialist to another, she was hoping for the best, but at the same time, preparing herself for the worst. After finding herself in two-not serious but alarming-road accidents, she discovered she had brain concussion and brain damage. That was when she was diagnosed with brain tumor. The events that followed were unforgettable for her and her family. Within seven months, she went through two brain surgeries. A poignantly written and eye-opening journal, Brain Surgery And Recovery From A Patient's Point of View follows the enduring events leading to, including, and after both surgeries. Through vivid narration, Beecham relives the dim journey she was forced to face. Also, it profoundly provides guidelines, warnings, and counseling to brain surgery patients and their families.

This release delivers reminders to everyone that suspicions and instincts should not be ignored, consulting more than one doctor is necessary, and attitude and prayer are the best things the patient and his or her loved ones can do for one another. Surgery And Recovery From A Patient's Point of View is a handy book that will help brain surgery patients and the people around them get through such upsetting stage as effortless and painless as possible.
