Longfellow Benefits, Boston, Adds Two Employee Benefits Professionals


BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - October 19, 2009) - Longfellow Benefits, a Boston-based employee benefits brokerage and consulting firm, added two professionals to its employee benefits team: J. Daniel Clancy, senior marketing consultant, and Brittany A. Wells, senior consultant, employee benefits.

Clancy focuses on marketing and new-business development. Previously, he worked in the executive search industry for many years at Gatti & Associates, Korn/Ferry International and other firms. He has also served as a human resources consultant in the healthcare field and as an accountant with the Massachusetts Hospital Association.

Clancy holds a bachelor's degree from Providence College and an MBA from Babson College. He is a member of the Massachusetts Healthcare Human Resources Association and New England Employee Benefits Council.

Wells provides ongoing service to Longfellow Benefits' clients in the area of benefit-plan design, implementation, wellness and cost-containment.

She joined Longfellow after three years of service with CIGNA HealthCare, where she effectively designed and executed wellness strategies for a variety of clients, as well as overseeing several implementations of new benefits, facilitating mergers, and organizing communication campaigns.

Wells graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
