Volvofinans Bank Selects MuleSoft Tcat Server and Mule ESB for Enterprise Middleware Infrastructure

SAN FRANCISCO, CA and GOTHENBURG, SWEDEN--(Marketwire - November 4, 2009) - Volvofinans Bank has selected Mule ESB and Tcat Server as integral parts of their enterprise-wide middleware infrastructure. MuleSoft's products will support efforts at the leading financial services company to drive more efficiency and agility in its development practices.

Volvofinans Bank provides financing to individuals and organizations for Volvo vehicles and other products in the Swedish market. The company also maintains an affiliate credit card business and one of Sweden's most widely disseminated loyalty cards -- the Volvo Card.

At Volvofinans, Mule ESB will replace a legacy integration platform, significantly improving the IT team's ability to cost-effectively develop and integrate application services. The organization selected Mule for its lightweight ease-of-use combined with full-featured support for integrating all types of applications, transports, and protocols.
