CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - November 12, 2009) - MorrisAnderson has chosen Bob
Aquilino to head its new Charlotte, N.C., office. Aquilino brings more
than 20 years' experience as a senior international executive specializing
in the consumer products industry to the MorrisAnderson team.
"With Bob on board, MorrisAnderson continues to build its consumer products
industry expertise," says Dan Dooley, principal and chief operating officer
at MorrisAnderson. "His background and experience are impressive, to say
the very least, and he has exactly what it takes to shepherd our expansion
into North Carolina."
Before joining MorrisAnderson, Aquilino played a leadership role in the
general management, marketing and sales of several international consumer
brands, including Pepsi, Frito-Lay, Kidde and Invisible Fence, Inc. He has
re-established momentum in several mature, complex businesses and led
turnarounds in a variety of industries. He is skilled at accelerating
performance, team-building and improving shareholder value for small- to
mid-cap companies in consumer and technology products, and business
services.
"I am very pleased to be a part of such a prestigious organization," says
Aquilino. "The combined depth of experience of MorrisAnderson's consultants
in all areas of distressed and turnaround consulting is exceptional. I look
forward to contributing my expertise and building on our success in leading
the Charlotte office."
In previous positions as a division president at United Technologies, Inc.,
Chubb PLC and Innottek, Inc., Aquilino was responsible for turnarounds
involving three major global acquisitions. During these large and
challenging consolidations, he succeeded in accelerating revenue growth,
profitably consolidating operations, improving purchasing productivity and
repositioning underperforming divisions. Most recently, he was president of
SpinVox Inc., an advanced startup in the voicemail-to-text conversion
space, and led the reshaping of the North American sales and marketing
organization.
Aquilino has a bachelor's degree in business management from Pennsylvania
State University. He is a member of the Young Presidents' Organization and
serves as a guest speaker and mentor in the Leadership Development program
at University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler School of Business.
