About the Author
Bill Copeland grew up in the foothills of San Diego County, California. He graduated from San Diego State University with a BA degree in Math with minors in Physics and German. He worked first for Univac as a computer programmer. Projects included naval ship management applications, and Apollo communications programs at the Manned Spacecraft Center in Houston. Copeland returned to California in the S.F. Bay Area, where he made a transition to writing plans, requirements, and "as built" software documentation for government and business applications. During this period, he attended San Jose State University and received an MS in Cybernetic Systems. Copeland has done a fairly extensive study of the current literature and models of the universe provided by astronomers and cosmologists.
