Permabit and Dedupe2 Announce Twitter Scavenger Hunt

CAMBRIDGE, MA--(Marketwire - February 10, 2010) - Permabit Technology Corporation, the leading innovator of value tiered storage solutions for the enterprise, and Dedupe2.com, the gathering place for the data management industry to learn about, discuss, debate and shape the next generation of data deduplication, today announced the launch of a contest using their Twitter channels to engage followers on a scavenger hunt of the two websites. The grand prize -- a TomTom ONE 125 GPS -- will be awarded to the contestant that navigates his or her way through the sites to discover the most correct answers.

Permabit and Dedupe2 will each issue a question once per week and will instruct contestants to direct message their answer at either @Permabit or @Dedupe2. The winner will be chosen during the week of March 15th. In the event of a tie, the winner will be selected in a blind drawing.

The contest runs from February 10th to March 12th and is starting with the question, "What are the names of Dedupe2's two podcast series?" It is open to all* who wish to participate, but contestants must have a Twitter account and will need to follow either @Permabit or @Dedupe2 in order to be able to send direct messages. Only answers that are sent as direct messages will be considered for the prize. Updated information on the contest, along with a list of previous questions, will be available on Permabit.com and Dedupe2.com.
