CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - February 18, 2010) - On April 28, 2010 the mobile marketing industry's leaders will gather at the architecturally renowned Spertus Museum in Chicago for Mobile University, a one-day, interactive educational event being put on by the Heartland Mobile Council (HMC) that will address the importance of a long-term strategic approach to mobile marketing and how to integrate mobile into your business.
"Mobile is emerging as an important channel to communicate with the consumer and our goal with this event is to educate brands and agencies on simple but successful mobile tactics and allow attendees to walk away with the tools required to build their mobile strategy," said Kelly Stickel, HMC's director of Mobile University. "What's unique about Mobile University -- and why we're so excited about it -- is the strong focus around relevant mobile marketing education with interactive components including a mobile WAP site across the top 10 handsets, an opt-in program that will send SMS alerts, a 'text to win' quiz, and various other components that will engage the audience."
350 senior-level executives in the marketing and technology industries -- including agencies, brand managers and technology providers -- are expected to attend the event, which will take place on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at the Spertus Museum on South Michigan Avenue. The pre-registration ticket price is $99 and can be purchased here. In addition, a post-conference networking event for attendees will take place from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
