Cardo wins orders worth SEK 10 million from treatment plants Cardo in Spain has won orders to supply pumps and mixers for two wastewater treatment plants. The orders are worth a total of SEK 10 million. “These are two significant orders that we have taken,” says Peter Aru, President and CEO of Cardo. “There is a great need for wastewater treatment in countries with strong population growth, but also in Europe, for example, where wastewater treatment systems in many cases require upgrading.” The orders in question include delivery of pumps and mixers for a newly built treatment plant and for a treatment plant whose capacity is being doubled to meet both population growth and an increase in the number of towns that are connected to the wastewater network. The orders will be booked in the first quarter in the division Cardo Flow Solutions. Delivery and installation are expected to occur in May and September, respectively, 2010.
