At the meeting Monte Joe Barrow, Paul O. Bower, Randy L. Churchey, William J. Cahill, Dr. John Ford, Howard A. Silver and Wendell W. Weakley were all re-elected to serve one-year terms as Directors ending with the 2011 annual meeting of shareholders.
Shareholders also ratified the appointment of Deloitte & Touche LLP as the Company's independent registered public accounting firm for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2010, and approved the adoption of an Employee Stock Purchase Plan for all Education Realty Trust employees.
