The blog serves nonprofit organizations with tips, news and advice on a wide variety of topics at the well-recognized Web site ChicagoNow, owned by the Chicago Tribune Media Group. The blog is authored by Pier C. Rogers, director of the Axelson Center and professor of nonprofit management, and Christa Beall Diefenbach, assistant director of the Axelson Center. Rogers has spent more than 25 years in the nonprofit field and has been active in the nonprofit research community nationally since the early 1990s. Beall Diefenbach has over 15 years' experience as a fundraiser and in other professional roles in the nonprofit sector prior to joining the Axelson Center, Chicago's premier nonprofit educational program.
ChicagoNow is an online community created by Chicagoans for Chicagoans. The blog content includes news, counsel and resources of interest to the Chicago area's large and diverse group of nonprofit organizations.
