Skylight has engaged their CAB members to contribute their collective clinical experience and knowledge to guide overall quality and effectiveness of Skylight services. Consisting of a highly accomplished group of nursing and clinical executives with diverse perspectives, the CAB provides extensive expertise in areas including direct patient care activities, clinical and patient education, operational effectiveness, assuring customer satisfaction, clinical excellence, physician and employee satisfaction, and in developing and implementing strategic initiatives including improvement in HCAHPS scores.
As Executive Chief Nursing Officer for Vanderbilt Medical Center, Marilyn Dubree, RN, MSN, NE-BC is responsible for clinical and professional leadership throughout the VMC enterprise. She has led robust strategic initiatives related to nurse recruitment and retention, shared governance, nurse wellness, and managed development and innovations in staffing and workforce issues. She is also advancing the current VMC initiative for inpatient documentation and clinical process improvement.
Ms. Dubree joined Vanderbilt Medical Center in 1976 and has held positions such as Clinical Nurse Specialist, Director of Surgical Nursing, and Director of Operational Improvement. She also serves as Associate Dean for Clinical Practice for the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. Ms. Dubree is a Wharton Nurse Executive Fellow, a member of the American Nurses' Association, Tennessee Nurses' Association, American Organization of Nurse Executives, and Sigma Theta Tau.
