The Beta site system is designed to treat approximately 22,000 gallons per day of high quality diesel fuel meeting ULSD standards of less than 15 ppm. The process incorporates a design that is energy efficient and cost effective, providing a marketable solution to sulfur reduction.
The company's research and development team is currently monitoring the system and developing the required database of information for ongoing evaluation and improvement. The Planet team has met the challenge to develop a working sulfur reduction system within a 90 day timeframe from concept to startup, within budget.
The project is entering into the secondary phase, which will focus on incorporation of a proprietary design for an automated control system to manage and operate the system while collecting and transmitting real time data and the addition of increased sulfur reduction capacity.
