HORSHAM, PA--(Marketwire - July 20, 2010) - Conference organizers for the 13th Annual HR Technology® Conference and Exposition today announced that the 2010 event's registrations are on record pace, far ahead of the of the 2008 and 2009 conferences. Produced by Human Resource Executive® Conferences, this year's event will be held at McCormick Place in Chicago from September 29 - October 1, 2010.
Bill Kutik, conference co-chair and technology columnist for Human Resource Executive® magazine, commented, "We've assembled the industry's most preeminent experts in our finest program in 13 years. Based on our early registrations, the response from HR professionals has been resoundingly positive and we're looking forward to another outstanding event that helps attendees learn how to get business benefits from HR technology, whether they've already invested or are about to."
As an early adopter of social networking tools, the HR Technology® Conference leverages its more than 2,300 members on LinkedIn to gain a deeper understanding of what attendees really want from their conference experience. This year's program has been designed in response to their many interactive discussions and posts about what keeps them up at night.
With the promise of an economic recovery, change is in the air. At this year's conference, PeopleSoft and Oracle clients will have one of their first opportunities to see a demo of Oracle's next generation HR system, plus a spirited conversation between Kutik and Gretchen Alarcon, Oracle's vice president for Global HCM Strategy.
Knowledge Infusion's co-founder and CEO, Jason Averbook, will lead a panel of HR practitioners in a discussion about how their efforts at integrated talent management have failed and what they're doing about it. And, with social media taking center stage in the minds of so many HR professionals, Punk Rock HR's Laurie Ruettimann will run a hands-on training class entitled "Twitterversity."
Never short of expert opinions, industry luminaries Naomi Lee Bloom, managing partner of Bloom & Wallace, and Jim Holincheck, managing vice president, Finance, HCM & Procurement, Gartner, will face off on the hottest issues of the day in a "point, counterpoint" style general session entitled "The Great Technology Debate."
Rounding out the general sessions is one of the conference's most popular sessions, the re-named "Awesome New Technologies for HR," which is so focused on showcasing the newest technologies that participants aren't selected until September, right before the actual event.
The pre-early bird rate, which enables attendees to save $450.00 off the conference fee, expires on July 30, 2010.
