SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - August 24, 2010) - "IT-as-a-Service" provider, NetEnrich, today announced Justin Crotty has joined the executive ranks as senior vice president and general manager. Recognized as a channel advocate and one of the IT service industry's most innovative minds, Crotty's appointment invigorates NetEnrich's commitment to the IT channel and will assist channel partners with driving IT service business while leveraging the advantages and technologies of cloud computing.
NetEnrich is leading the adoption of "IT-as-a-Service" and cloud computing among channel partners today by serving as a "virtual IT staff" to channel partners who support small businesses up to midsized enterprises with remote network monitoring, IT infrastructure management and oversight of data centers, IT operations and cloud infrastructures.
NetEnrich CEO, Raju Chekuri, says this about the company's commitment to IT services adoption within the channel, "Justin has a proven track record built on more than 20 years in the IT channel. His leadership of the groundbreaking development of Ingram Micro's Services Division and Ingram Micro Seismic, proves he not only understands the IT services business strategy for the channel, he understands how to build upon our vision for growth. We're excited that he set his sights on NetEnrich for the next chapter in his career. His leadership, coupled with our expertise, will enable IT channel partners to succeed with cloud computing and managed services today, and pave the way for mutually profitable growth for our partners and NetEnrich well into the future."
At NetEnrich, Crotty is responsible for sales, marketing, and product development. He is tasked with growing NetEnrich's professional and managed IT services through IT service and solution providers, value-added resellers (VARs) and managed services providers (MSPs). In addition, Crotty oversees NetEnrich's strategic alliances with new and existing partners such as Ingram Micro Inc., Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions (ECS), as well as top managed services vendors, such as N-able. In this role, Crotty is also in charge of expanding the company's channel partner ecosystem throughout North America and Europe. He reports to Chekuri and is based out of the company's headquarters in San Jose.
"There's a great deal of opportunity for channel partners to increase their operating income and profitability with managed IT services," explains Crotty. "Our aim is to make it easier for VARs to get into this business and for MSPs to break out with new integration, consulting and high margin service engagements which positions them as the virtual CIO and technology advisor to the clients they serve."
Prior to joining NetEnrich, Crotty served as vice president services, North America for Ingram Micro Inc., where he led the Services Division and pioneered the IT channel's first distributor-offered managed services suite. Previously, Crotty served as vice president channel marketing, North America for Ingram Micro where he was responsible for the growth and development strategies surrounding the distributor's market-facing channel programs, customer communities, marketing strategies and campaigns to drive channel and IT services revenues. Crotty joined Ingram Micro in July 2001. Prior to Ingram Micro, Crotty held engineering, sales, and management positions in the high tech and communications sectors. He began his career as a network systems engineer with IBM.
Crotty holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from Bentley College in Waltham, MA.
