Handelsbanken has no credit exposure to HQ Bank

Following presentation of a petition today to the District Court of Stockholm to
liquidate HQ Bank, Handelsbanken comments as follows.

The Bank has no credit exposure to HQ Bank. Other exposures are marginal and do
not entail any risk of loss for the Bank.
