BURBANK, CA--(Marketwire - October 6, 2010) - Singer and songwriter Tyler Hilton has launched a U.S. fall tour during which he will perform shows at high schools across the country during the day and club shows at night with his Warner Bros. Records labelmate Josiah Leming. The tour criss-crosses the country through November 17th.
This week, Hilton will also perform for students at three California high schools: Upland High in Upland on October 6th, Sheldon High in Sacramento on October 7th, and Turlock High in Turlock on October 8th. At Upland High, Hilton will meet with the drama department to read lines with the students; at Sheldon High, a "press conference" will be held with all the creative departments' teachers and students; and at Turlock High, Hilton will take photos for a full-page in the school's yearbook.
While on the road, the Palm Springs, CA, native will perform songs from his upcoming new album, titled The Storms We Share, which is due from Reprise Records in early 2011. The album, which was produced by John Alagia (Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer) and Matt Serletic (Matchbox Twenty, Collective Soul), is the eagerly awaited follow-up to Hilton's 2004 major-label debut The Tracks of Tyler Hilton -- an appealing slice of strummy pop Americana that spawned two Top 40 singles "When It Comes" and "How Love Should Be."
Hilton's five-song Ladies and Gentlemen EP, featuring four tracks from The Storms We Share plus a b-side, is currently available from all digital retailers.
