ClearStone provides real time collection, correlation, management and visualization of enterprise and Web-based applications, enabling developers and operations personnel to monitor, manage, and optimize the performance of business-critical and Internet-scale applications from a 'single pane of glass.'
ClearStone 4.5 extends the ClearStone platform to cover Apache Cassandra, an open source distributed database, and Memcached, an open source data management architecture. Cassandra and Memcached have become trusted technologies for developers of "Internet-scale" applications who need a fast, efficient solution for managing vast amounts of data. Cassandra, for example, was originally developed by Facebook as a way of managing data for millions of users. Because these data management solutions do not rely on traditional SQL databases, they are known as "NoSQL" technologies.

In addition to introducing Management Packs for Memcached and Cassandra, ClearStone 4.5 also adds new visualization capabilities to ClearStone's Real-time Dashboard and a new collection configuration tool for the ClearStone Admin Console. The collection config tool makes it easier than ever for users to configure data collection from Oracle Coherence clusters, Cassandra clusters, Memcached instances, and other custom Java applications.
