Announcement pursuant to § 30e (1) No. 1 
of the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG)

Bad Fredeburg, 12.10.2010. The resolution on Agenda Item 7 ('Resolution on
the assignment of the shares held by minority shareholders in burgbad
Aktiengesellschaft to ECZACIBAŞI Yapi Gereçleri San. ve Tic. A.S.,
Istanbul, Turkey, in return for the granting of appropriate cash
compensation pursuant to § 327a et seq. of the German Stock Corporation Act
(AktG) (squeeze-out)' adopted by the Annual General Meeting of burgbad AG
on 11 May 2010 was today included in the company's entry in the Commercial
Register. Upon entry of the assignment resolution, all shares previously
held by minority shareholders have been assigned to Eczacibasi Yapi
Gerecleri San. ve Tic. A.S. The previous minority shareholders thus no
longer hold any shares in burgbad AG; their shareholders' rights have
expired. In return for the loss of their shares and rights, previous
minority shareholders are entitled to payment of one-off compensation
amounting to EUR 19.67 per share.
