Stumbras AB sales in the first nine months of 2010 amounted to LTL 68.40 million (EUR 19.81 million). Production sales decreased by 17.2 % compared to LTL 82.59 million (EUR 23.92 million) in sales during the first nine months of 2009.
Stumbras AB profit before taxes in the first nine months of 2010 was LTL 13.93 million (EUR 4.03 million). Profit before taxes decreased by 32.7 % compared to LTL 20.71 million (EUR 6.00 million) in pre-tax profit during the first nine months of 2009.
According to General Manager of Stumbras AB Česlovas Matulevičius, despite of the deteriorating results, Company is still determined to pursue its long-term strategy of producing only the best quality higher class strong alcoholic drinks. Loyalty of current consumers and active growth in the foreign markets remain two of the Company's top priorities.
During first three quarters of 2010, Stumbras AB paid LTL 96,3 million only in excise taxes to the Lithuanian state budget, which is about 33% less than in the same period of the previous year.
