Cision to Discuss Social Media Engagement and PR Measurement Best Practices at Spring 2011 Events

CHICAGO, Feb. 23, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Cision, the leading provider of PR software, services and tools for the media and public relations industry, today announced a series of PR industry conference appearances and sponsorships during spring 2011 that will define and discuss emerging best practices in social media engagement and overall communications campaign planning, monitoring, and analysis.

Cision experts in domains such as media and influencer research, social media engagement, and media measurement methodology will underscore the changes in corporate communications practice caused by the social web's integration of previously divergent disciplines such as public relations, advertising, marketing, sales, and customer service.

"There's one overriding trend in PR and marketing today: everything is becoming integrated. From paid to earned, print to digital, and owned to social, PR professionals must embrace a rapidly changing landscape that integrates all channels and leaves out none," said Peter Granat, President and Chief Operating Officer of Cision North America. "At industry conferences, seminars and webinars throughout 2011, Cision experts will help make sense of this convergence, offering actionable insights about what is possible now and what to look for in the longer term to make marketing campaigns and social media engagement more effective."
