IRVINE, CA--(Marketwire - April 5, 2011) - BIZPAC, the Political Action Committee of Orange County Business Council (OCBC), today announced that Chairman of the Orange County Board of Supervisors Bill Campbell will be honored at the 3rd Annual Tribute and Roast on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at The Disneyland Hotel. Presented by the BIZPAC Trustees and emceed by professional comedian and Hollywood entertainer Bob Zany, the annual event will feature spirited stories from Campbell's friends and associates, including Mayor of Tustin, Jerry Amante; General Manager of Orange County Employees Association, Nick Berardino; Director of Orange County Transportation Authority, Peter Buffa; Director of Municipal Water District of Orange County, Larry Dick; and former Mayor of Anaheim, Curt Pringle.
Supervisor Campbell has served the County of Orange since 2003 and is the current Chairman of the Board of Supervisors. Prior to his election to the Orange County Board of Supervisors, Campbell served in the California Legislature as Assembly Minority Leader and had a successful career as a businessman. He is a leader in the Catholic Church, dedicated to various social justice causes, and active on numerous boards and committees.
