Drobo Names David Bangs as Head of Worldwide Sales

SANTA CLARA, CA--(Marketwire - May 10, 2011) - Drobo, makers of the award-winning data storage products for businesses and professionals, today announced that David Bangs, a seasoned and successful industry sales executive with recent leadership positions at HP and LeftHand Networks, has been appointed Senior Vice President of worldwide sales.

David was previously the VP of worldwide sales at LeftHand Networks, an innovator and leader in the ISCSI SAN market, where he built and led the sales organization from initial beta shipments through to more than 5,000 customer wins and the company's ultimate acquisition by HP in November 2008. Prior to LeftHand Networks, David served in sales leadership roles at Quantum, Control Data, and Toshiba.
