IFDDC Elects Bill Coale of Syringa Networks to Serve on Board


IDAHO FALLS, Idaho, May 24, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Idaho Falls Downtown Development Corporation announced that Bill Coale has been elected to serve a 3-year term on its Board of Directors. Coale, Regional Account Executive for Syringa Networks, brings to the Board more than 30 years of market development and sales experience in the telecommunications field. His territory spans southern Idaho and northern Utah, including Idaho Falls and Salt Lake City, Utah.

Between 2000 and 2003, Coale was a key consultant to the City of Idaho Falls when the municipality was exploring the feasibility of installing a high-speed city fiber optic ring. His efforts helped secure the initial $1.8 million financing from the Idaho Falls City Council. 

Outside of his professional life, he is active in a variety of civic and cultural organizations including the Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce and Grow Idaho Falls. He is a long-time Rotarian, past president of the Boise Noon Optimists, and past executive director of the Optimist Football Program. He likes to golf and hike, and enjoys time spent with his wife, Vickie, and their adult children, Amanda and Matthew.
