Englander Knabe & Allen Taps Chris Bryan to Manage New Campaign Consulting Firm

LOS ANGELES, June 9, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Growth at Englander Knabe & Allen (EKA) continues with the announcement of its wholly owned subsidiary EKA Campaigns, a full service campaign consulting firm focusing on issues campaigning, independent expenditures, and targeted candidate consulting. Today, EKA announces the introduction of Chris Bryan who will manage the new venture.

EKA Campaigns will operate as an independent entity under the umbrella of Englander Knabe & Allen. EKA Campaigns will focus on issues campaigning but also will offer services to a select group of candidates and committees wishing to take advantage of EKA's wealth of expertise creating effective independent expenditures, public affairs campaigns, and candidate campaigns that win.

Bryan comes to EKA as a veteran of many successful local, congressional and statewide races with a focus on Southern California. "We believe the changing political landscape of Southern California, coupled with the implementation of Proposition 14 and newly drawn district lines, requires someone with tremendous knowledge about the technology currently used to target likely voters and the creativity and expertise to reach those voters and get them to the polls for our clients," said managing partner Harvey Englander.

In expressing EKA's vision for the new venture, Englander said, "We looked at the current landscape of consultants and saw an opportunity to create something new. We will offer our clients that rare combination of experience and seasoned expertise coupled with a fresh, creative look at reaching voters and getting the right message to the public."

Though only recently formed, EKA Campaigns already has several clients putting EKA's combination of experience and creativity to work on upcoming ballot efforts. "Our clients expect us to win and that is exactly what we intend to do," said Englander.

"Many consultants across the city and state have been relying on a cookie cutter approach to campaigns. Redistricting and open primaries are going to force changes in the way we look at campaigns and how we target voters. I have been on the ground with voters for a long time and am very familiar with the technology now being used to identify and target likely voters. I look forward to bringing my expertise to EKA's existing clients as well as to potential clients seeking a new approach to looking at campaigns," said Bryan.

Bryan began his career as a field representative on Jeb Bush's first successful Gubernatorial run in Florida. He worked for Congressman E. Clay Shaw in Florida and Washington DC, and was a Regional Political Director for Meg Whitman and the California Republican Party helping to manage Political, Coalitions, and Grassroots activities for Statewide and Local Elections. Most recently he was the Political Director and Campaign Manager for a successful LA City Council Election.
