Version 6.1 Features Clinical and Workflow Enhancements Designed to Expand Depth of Clinical Information and Improve Workflow Efficiencies


MINNEAPOLIS, June 28, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Vital, a Toshiba Medical Systems Group Company and leading provider of advanced visualization and analysis solutions for healthcare providers, releases Vitrea Enterprise Suite (VES), Version 6.1. Enhancements in Version 6.1 build on the clinical depth of Vitrea Enterprise Suite and improve clinical workflows through advancements such as expanded integration capabilities.

Version 6.1 includes automated bone removal and enhanced vessel grow functions for head and neck studies, multi-volume fusion support for 4D Brain Perfusion, Body Perfusion and Myocardial Perfusion enhancements such as multi-volume fusion of color maps and coronary arteries. The 4D Brain Perfusion, Body Perfusion and Myocardial Perfusion enhancements are available only outside the United States and only with Vitrea fX.

Version 6.1 provides greater workflow capabilities through expanded integrations with Mirada's Oncology Fusion and both iCAD and Medicsight's CT Colon CAD (computer-aided detection) applications, a new application launcher for PACS (Picture Archive and Communications Systems), a usage reporting function and a Web-based centralized logging tool.
