IRVINE, CA--(Marketwire - Jul 12, 2011) - Stanbridge College is pleased to announce that its Vocational Nursing and Occupational Therapy Assistant students, staff and faculty have raised over $1,450 for Convoy of Hope disaster response efforts for the town of Joplin, Missouri.

"As a nation we are currently dealing with many different natural disasters and our neighbors continue to need our help as they rebuild their lives. Stanbridge College holds quarterly Favorite Charity contests in which students, staff and faculty submit and vote on non-profit organizations to help local and global communities. This quarter, Stanbridge College chose to raise funds for Convoy of Hope's disaster relief for the people of Joplin, Missouri who were recently the victims of several disastrous tornados in May.
