Roosters Men's Grooming Center Celebrates Grand Opening in Parker

PARKER, CO--(Marketwire - Jul 25, 2011) - Brandi and Jesse Shapiro, franchise owners of Roosters Men's Grooming Center (MGC) in Parker, recently celebrated the store's opening with the enthusiastic support of family and friends along with representatives of the Parker Chamber of Commerce and other Roosters' franchises from throughout Colorado.

Special guests included Joe Grondin, master barber and founder of the rapidly growing national franchise that provides personal grooming services for men and boys. Grondin opened the first Roosters' franchise in Lapeer, Michigan, to give people the experience of an old-fashioned barbershop combined with modern hair care techniques. Since 1999, more than 35 franchises have opened nationwide.

Renaud L. Notaro and E. Karl Hungus of FM93.7/AM1510 Mile High Sports Radio also broadcast the station's "Elephants in the Room" show live from the store which is located at 9700 South Parker Road.

"We greatly appreciate everyone in Parker who helped us get ready for our opening and made us feel so welcome," said Brandi Shapiro. She thanked Texas Roadhouse, Parker Payless Liquor and D'Amico's Catering for providing refreshments for Roosters' official ribbon cutting with the Chamber.

During the store's grand opening week, Roosters raised three hundred dollars to benefit Project Sanctuary, a non-profit whose mission is to provide therapeutic, curative, supportive and recreational activities to veterans, active military personnel, their spouses and children in a leisure environment.
