CEO Hired to Lead NVISION Laser Eye Centers With Ten Locations Throughout Southern California

NEWPORT BEACH, CA--(Marketwire - Jul 26, 2011) - Today, Dr. Tom Tooma, Medical Director at NVISION Laser Eye Centers, announced that Todd Cooper has joined NVISION Laser Eye Centers as Chief Executive Officer to support the company's continued growth as a premier provider of LASIK and cataract services

Prior to joining NVISION, Cooper served as a General Manager at Henry Schein, a $7.8 billion healthcare company. In his role, he was responsible for a $400M business. While there, he helped drive strong growth even during the recession.

Previously, Cooper served as the Senior Vice President of Discus, an aesthetic based dental company, where he played an important role in growing an entrepreneurial based company from $60 million to $165 million in sales over a five-year period. He also helped drive acquisitions, strategic alliances and global expansion.

Prior to his role at Discus, he held positions in business development and marketing at IMG, the Franklin Mint, Canadian Tire and Ogilvy, a division of WPP, the second largest marketing communications company in the world.
