ST. PAUL, MN--(Marketwire - Aug 2, 2011) - HealthEast Care System is proud to announce that one of its physician leaders, Brian D. Patty, MD, VP and Chief Medical Informatics Officer, received a national award from the Association of Medical Directors of Information Systems (AMDIS).
The 2011 AMDIS Awards salute excellence and outstanding achievement in applied medical informatics. The Association of Medical Directors of Information Systems is a non-profit organization representing over 2,000 physician health care information technology leaders.

The winners were honored at the 20th annual Physician Computer Connection Symposium, July 12 through July 15, in Ojai, California and in Modern Healthcare/Modern Physician magazines.
