POWERS LAKE, WI--(Marketwire - Aug 3, 2011) - TCGRx (TCG) has acquired the pharmacy consulting division of Sensor Synergy, Inc. out of Buffalo Grove, IL. This acquisition is based on TCG's goal of providing their customers complete pharmacy solutions to meet the impending CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) regulatory changes requiring short cycle dispensing for long-term care (LTC) pharmacies that service Medicare Part D patients.
TCG offers customized and comprehensive pharmacy automation solutions in LTC, retail, and hospital pharmacy markets. TCG also offers pharmacy design services so that pharmacies can implement new technologies and workflow in the most effective manner. Part of the acquisition includes the addition of Industrial Engineer, Jae Chung, MBA, to lead the pharmacy advising division of TCG. Chung has over 10 years of pharmacy consulting experience with over 500 pharmacies in the health system, alternate care, and retail markets.
