SAS Group's July 2011 traffic figures

• SAS Group's traffic (RPK) increased by 7.7% during July and capacity
(ASK) increased 6.7% vs same period.

• The passenger load factor increased by 0.8 p.u. in July to a record
high of 85.6%.

• SAS Group carried 2.1 million passengers in July, up 6.6%.

Group market trends, RASK and yield development

Passenger load factor in July was the highest ever recorded at
85,6%.This reflects a very strong development in particularly the
leisure market in July.

During June 2011, underlying currency adjusted RASK was up 5.8% and
yield was up 1.2% with yield slightly above guidance. For July 2011,
RASK (change vs last year) and yield to be broadly in line with June.

The market growth continues to be strong, but, remains unpredictable,
due to added capacity in certain markets and risk of continued high jet
fuel prices. Scandinavian Airlines is continuously improving its
customer offering, that is also reflected in a clearly improved customer
satisfaction that is the highest in eleven years. The implementation of
the cost saving program is on track.
