With these acquisitions, Acquia is also introducing today Acquia Migration Services and Acquia Security Services for Drupal enterprise website owners.

Acquia's Migration Services practice includes a suite of software tools, modules, best practices and expertise to help organizations migrate content from legacy web content management and social software systems to Drupal. Acquia's Migration Services team has experience, including software tools, for migrating content from Vignette, Jive Software, Wordpress, and SharePoint to Drupal. The Migration Services practice helps organizations manage large-scale, error-prone migration processes, eliminating risks and reducing time to market for organizations moving to Drupal.
Acquia's Security Services practice includes tools and services to assess Drupal site security and implement effective security strategies based on Drupal best practices. Acquia's Security Services team performs security audits and works with customers to develop comprehensive security plans to respond to security vulnerabilities as they arise. Additionally, the team offers implementation guidance to meet specific security requirements.
Acquia Partners will be able to take advantage of both the security and migration tools developed by Acquia. Additionally, they are now able to work with these new practice areas within Acquia Professional Services to jointly meet the needs of their prospects and customers.
