MILWAUKEE, WI--(Marketwire - Sep 12, 2011) - Health Systems International has gained Wisconsin Worker's Compensation Division certification for five medical cost databases it acquired through its purchase of True Course Medical Data Analysis and Claim Services. The databases had been certified previously for the past 16 years under True Course, but had to seek re-certification after True Course's acquisition in March.
The most complete and experienced certified review of medical charges available in Wisconsin, the databases include comparative health care pricing information that allows Health Systems International to find cost savings for its clients and their employees. The certifications cover all hospital inpatient, hospital outpatient (surgical and non-surgical), freestanding ambulatory surgery centers, anesthesia (professional and facility), and CPT/HCPC II in all applicable settings.
Health Systems International acquired Milwaukee-based True Course in order to enhance its competitive edge in Wisconsin. Under the guidance of Glen Boyle (former President of True Course, and now Director of Data Analysis and Specialty Services for Health Systems), True Course had built the five certified modules to further contain clients' costs in the tough Wisconsin market.
