WildPackets Names Ron Lloyd as Vice President of Operations

WALNUT CREEK, CA--(Marketwire - Sep 27, 2011) - WildPackets, Inc. (www.wildpackets.com), a leading provider of network and application performance analysis solutions, today announced the appointment of industry veteran Ron Lloyd as the company's Vice President of Operations. Lloyd will be responsible for manufacturing operations, technical support and IT for WildPackets as the company expands further into the enterprise.

Lloyd brings more than 25 years of experience in operations both for start-ups and Fortune 150 companies, and has led all aspects of product development, manufacturing, subcontractor management and quality system management. Most recently, Lloyd was the Chief Operating Officer at Fat Spaniel Technologies where he guided the operational expansion of the company's independent monitoring services for renewable energy OEMs, integrators and PPA service providers worldwide. Prior to that, he was the VP of the White Start program at Tesla Motors. Additionally, Lloyd spent thirteen years at Sun Microsystems, serving in many capacities including VP of Worldwide Manufacturing in Operations and VP of Engineering in the Network Storage Division, and spent seven years at Hewlett Packard in manufacturing engineering and engineering management.
