New York, Sept. 28, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Inc. magazine recently named AMG & Associates, Inc. (AMG) to its fifth annual Inc. 500|5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy--America’s independent entrepreneurs. AMG joins Spirit Airlines, television maker Vizio, and Dunkin’ Donuts, among other prominent brands featured on this year’s list.

Selection was determined by evaluating revenue growth from 2007-2010. To meet minimum qualifications, privately held companies must have been founded by March 2007, and have minimum revenue of $100,000 in 2007, and a minimum of $2 million in 2010.
In a stagnant economic environment, median growth rate of 2011 Inc. 500|5000 companies was an impressive 94 percent. The companies on this year’s list report having created 350,000 jobs in the past three years, and aggregate revenue among the honorees reached $366 billion, up 14 percent from last year.

AMG had revenue of $12.4 million last year. Since its founding in 2006, the company has completed approximately $67 million construction projects as far north as Lone Pine (about 70 miles east of Fresno) and as far south as Seal Beach in Orange County.
