NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Sep 30, 2011) - Independent media agency TargetCast tcm won top honors at Monday night's OMMA Awards in New York, taking home an award for Best Integrated Online Campaign, Entertainment category, for its work on behalf of AMC's original series "The Killing."
To promote the first season of the drama, TargetCast tcm leveraged the popularity of shared media with its target viewing audience, creating an integrated digital campaign that used search, display, video, mobile, gaming and social to generate tune-in and drive viewers to AMC's Web properties. Consumers were encouraged to share online content, including video trailers, contests and an interactive game. Paid media components of the campaign included Google search, YouTube's flagship "Home Page Masthead," and hyper-targeted Facebook ads.
