Konecranes MTS machine calibration program tracks a machines performance and prepares it for planned maintenance. Calibrating a machine with precision laser measuring equipment can help ensure the end product is manufactured on machinery that is capable of meeting close tolerance results. Konecranes MTS calibration specialists re-level machines and optimize their geometrical orientation utilizing our state-of-the-art laser systems. Geometry/alignment optimization and calibration are one of the most utilized services that Konecranes MTS provides to customers.
Konecranes MTS laser inspection & calibration equipment is calibrated according to the manufacturers' recommended intervals. All Konecranes MTS owned equipment is traceable to N.I.S.T. and re-calibrated annually by the original equipment manufacturer.
The machine's dynamic/interpolation performance is inspected utilizing our Renishaw ball bar. The ball bar tool is the optimum method for inspecting or verifying the machine tools function and dynamic performance during non-contact operation. After completing the ball bar inspection, the results are plotted out and reviewed with our customer.
The linear positioning and repeatability is compensated and verified utilizing Konecranes Machine Tool Services Renishaw interferometer laser system. A computer generated plot can be supplied in either an NMTBA, ASME B5.54 or ISO format. Copies of the Renishaw laser plots and Renishaw ball bar results are provided to our customer for their maintenance archives.
