Iveda Solutions Appoints Richard Gibson as SVP of Global Sales & Support

MESA, AZ--(Marketwire - Oct 24, 2011) - Iveda Solutions, Inc. (OTCBB: IVDA) announced today the appointment of Richard (Dick) Gibson, the newest addition to the Company's executive team, as Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Support.

Reporting to the Company's President and CEO, Gibson will lead and manage the Company's sales organization, including direct, resellers, and distribution channels. He will assist with strategic sales initiatives in the U.S. and overseas. Gibson will also work on establishing and enhancing new sales and customer service methodologies, systems, and organization.

Gibson comes to Iveda Solutions with 30 years' experience in IT, networks, and security. He has held leadership positions in large companies such as IBM and Motorola, as well as in several smaller companies. His experience is primarily in sales management, but he has also held management positions in customer service, including call centers. He has built distribution channels from the ground up in both domestic and international marketplaces and has developed significant business and personal relationships around the world.

Most recently, Gibson was Senior Vice President of Sales and Service at SEER Technology, Inc., a developer of indoor positioning and tracking devices and chemical detection and identification devices for the public safety, military, and commercial security markets.

Gibson received his MBA degree at Thunderbird School of International Management in Glendale, Arizona, specializing in the Asia region. He earned his undergraduate Bachelor of International Relations degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota, graduating summa cum laude.
