LANGHORNE, Pa., Dec. 2, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Social and casual game developer and publisher Entertainment Games, Inc. (OTC Pink:EGAM) announced today that they will be releasing a new episode for their online social game Retro World™ on December 16, 2011. The game, which launched in beta in mid-November, has generated buzz over its unique game play, authentic photographic art style, and inclusion of iconic celebrities.
Developed on the company's proprietary Heyday platform, the second episode of OWL Files—titled "Monkey Business"—picks up right where the cliffhanger ended in episode one. Players will return to the early 1960s, team up with Agent 60, and embark on an interactive adventure to track down deadly Russian spies and save the U.S. Space program. The storyline promises laughs, exciting puzzles and mini-games, and a surprise ending.
"We're excited to be delivering on the promise of regular content releases," commented Gene Mauro, President of Entertainment Games. "Players have been clamoring for the next episode of OWL Files, and we think they will enjoy this one even more than the first." Commenting on another major feature to be released, Mauro added, "We are also opening up the Arcade on Retro Boulevard in this next release, which meets our goal of offering more daily activities for our players to engage in."
Entertainment Games is working on an entirely new show pilot which will be announced soon.
