Cimber Sterling Group has appointed Martins Antonovics as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective from 2 January 2012. Martins Antonovics, who was born in Latvia, has more than ten years' experience from the airline industry and joins Cimber Sterling from a position as Finance Director of Baltic aviation company Air Baltic. Martins Antonovics will be a member of the Executive Board of Cimber Sterling and will play an important role in the implementation of the strategic change processes due to take place in Cimber Sterling in the time to come.
Cimber Sterling's Executive Board will thereafter consist of the following four members:
• Jan Palmér, President & CEO
• Martins Antonovics, CFO, Executive Vice President
• Jacob Saaby Krogsgaard, CCO, Executive Vice President
• Steen Neuchs, COO, Executive Vice President
