Faurecia and LG Hausys sign partnership for vehicle interior decoration films

Faurecia, a world leader in vehicle interior systems, and LG Hausys, a world leader in the development and production of specialty decoration materials and films for the housing, electronic and automotive industry, have signed a strategic partnership to jointly develop next-generation vehicle interior decoration films.

Through this partnership with LG Hausys, Faurecia Interior Systems enlarges its product and technology offering to include decoration films, enabling Faurecia to cover the broad range of interior decoration solutions, including paint, real metal, fibers, wood and finally films. This partnership is aimed at offering to the automakers the highest perceived quality complete portfolio of film decoration products and processes.

This alliance between the two leaders will be focused on:
·         a joint creation work on decorative film patterns, largely inspired by "Collections by Faurecia", recently presented at the 2011 Frankfurt and Los Angeles Auto Shows. Faurecia state-of-the-art design studios provide creative interface with OEMs designer teams;
·         a joint development work on new decorative technologies and applications using both Groups' respective expertise.
