Lingotek Continues Strong Growth

Global Collaborative Translation Leader Opens Two New Offices, Adds to Head Count

LEHI, UT--(Marketwire - Jan 17, 2012) - Lingotek, the Translation Network and leader in collaborative translation solutions, today announced a notable company expansion that includes the opening of two new offices in North America and the hiring of three director-level team members. These developments further position Lingotek for strong growth within the $30 billion translation industry1.

"Companies recognize that accessing new markets around the world is key to remaining competitive in today's challenging economy," said Rob Vandenberg, president and CEO of Lingotek. "To successfully penetrate unchartered markets, businesses are becoming increasingly aware of the inherent value in high-quality translation and localization. Lingotek is excited to provide a unique collaborative translation management solution that is in sync with meeting the demands of an ever-changing and burgeoning global marketplace."

By giving enterprises and government customers new ways to engage their global communities through trusted and rapid translations, Lingotek is providing businesses with the opportunity to expand and grow quickly and cost-effectively. High demand for Lingotek's collaborative translation technology, combined with the annual 14 percent growth of the translation industry itself, has compelled Lingotek to prepare for continued growth through expansion of its offices and staff2.

To build on Lingotek's existing presence within the federal government space, Lingotek has opened a new office in Washington, D.C. At this office, Beltway veteran Joseph Wood, one of three recently hired directors, will serve as director of engineering. Adam Wooten, a translation and interpretation industry expert and Brigham Young University adjunct professor, has also been added to the growing Lingotek roster, and is now serving as Lingotek's director of translation services. Additionally, Larry Furr has been appointed to the position of director of product management, joining Wooten at Lingotek's new Lehi, Utah headquarters.

Lingotek has also moved into a new headquarters facility located in Utah's Silicon Slopes. In addition to accommodating Lingotek's increasing headcount, the move to Lehi, Utah places Lingotek at the heart of a growing technology neighborhood with notable technology giants Microsoft and Adobe as neighbors.

"Our expanded staff and new headquarters are integral components to Lingotek's growth strategy going forward," said Vandenberg. "Lingotek is poised to go the distance in the evolving global translation industry."
