OCALA, FL--(Marketwire - Apr 24, 2012) - Satish Sanan, the prominent owner and breeder of thoroughbred race horses, will sell his world-class Padua Stables at a real estate auction on May 31. Available in two properties or as an entirety, J. P. King Auction Company is hosting a V.I.P. weekend showcasing Padua Stables to the biggest names in the equine industry.
From Thursday, April 26 through Saturday, April 28, racing enthusiasts and investors have been invited to the Padua Office Complex for a brief introduction to the auction and the property, which will be followed by a grand tour of the property itself.
"This is a weekend to give some of the most prominent buyers in the industry a chance to see this extraordinary property exclusively," said Craig King, President and CEO of J. P. King Auction Company. "Purchasing a property as substantial as Padua Stables requires extensive due diligence, and we want to be sure all of our interested bidders have the time to feel confident in their purchase."
Additional property tours will also be provided beginning May 18, and continuing through May 30.
The V.I.P. tours will be conducted in two sessions each day. The morning sessions will begin at 9 a.m. each day and conclude at 12 p.m. The afternoon sessions will begin at 2 p.m. each day and conclude at 5 p.m., each of which will be followed by a reception.
Padua Stables is situated over 763 acres and is one of the world's most impressive equestrian facilities. With access granted through one of four decorative, gated entries, the property features an 8,000 square foot main residence, with a large, open floor plan designed for entertaining and a pool and patio overlooking the largest lake on the property. The eight-bedroom, 5.5-bath estate is only one of the prize improvements on the property.
The equestrian facilities include 11 premier barns with 202 stalls and a dirt track and turf track, each designed by Dennis Moore. There are numerous covered hot walkers and round pens, a stallion breeding complex, training facility and a broodmare/foaling operation.
The main executive office occupies 5,200 square feet, including everything from a conference room, lounge and private offices to a wet bar, full-service kitchen, fireplace and view of Lake Lotus. Also offering exceptional private housing for guests, managers and staff, Padua Stables totals 13 residences along with a 7,000 square foot dormitory with 22 rooms. Underground utilities, three maintenance buildings and three greenhouses used solely for maintaining the property's elaborate landscaping, makes it the definition of a turn-key operation.
Those interested in attending the V.I.P. event should contact J. P. King's Auction Information, as attendance is limited for the event. The auction of Padua Stables will take place onsite on May 31 at 11:00 a.m., in the Stallion Barn and private property tours will be available from May 18 through auction day.
