Avanquest Mobile Alert and Mobile Call Blocker Provide Safeguards for Mobile Users and Their Devices and Data

DENVER, CO--(Marketwire - Apr 30, 2012) - Avanquest Mobile Technologies, a leading developer of consumer and OEM software for mobile devices, today announced the release of Mobile Alert and Mobile Call Blocker. These are the latest in the suite of myMobile Companion services designed to protect mobile users and their devices and data.

The new solutions are available to operators, OEMs, and resellers individually or as part of the myMobile Companion suite, and each can be customized and offered under the partner's brand.

Key features include:

Mobile Alert

• One button automatic connection to local responders, even if the user is outside his or her own country.
• Displays critical information, such as allergies and medical conditions, to responders.
• Immediately notifies the person specified -- a spouse, parent, or colleague -- and transmits the user's location.

Mobile Call Blocker

• Provides complete control over all incoming calls and text messages through customizable rules
• When there is not a perfect match, the user is prompted to determine how to handle the call or message, and this is stored for future use.
• All calls and text messages are logged and can be reviewed later.
